Austrian-born photographer Rosemarie Lion is an award-winning photojournalist and commercial photographer. Rose and Gerard met in college,while studying photography. Together they have photographed weddings around the San Francisco Bay Area, the Wine Country, Napa, Sonoma, and as far as Jamaica and France.

Anyone who has worked with Rose and Gerard raves about their photography, but the fact that they put the couple, their family and guests at ease is even more important. For over ten years, they've personally attended to their client's needs, from the initial consultation and pre-planning stage to the design of the album.

With their European roots and background in photojournalism, they bring a very natural, yet chic sensibility to their stories. Together, Rose and Gerard are fluent in English, French, German, and Spanish.

Rosemarie Lion Photography has been certified by Here Comes The Guide, and featured in Today’s Bride, on the cover of Here Comes the Guide, Northern California Bride Marin Magazineand several wedding blogs. In addition, she is a regular contributor to I Do Venues.

Rosemarie earned her B.A. in photojournalism from San Francisco State University and interned in Salzburg, Silicon Valley and San Francisco. After assisting commercial and editorial photographers, Rosemarie opened her own photography studio.
