Rosemarie Lion is incredible. "Stunning" is how I would describe
her work. Her photographs are much more than just nice wedding shots.
It is the kind of art you would see in a gallery in San Francisco
or New York.
She creates a photo journal of your day and captures all the emotions,
from excitement to tenderness, from pride to surprise to joyful
weary yawns. I can't say enough good things about Rosemarie. She
was a wonderful addition to our day. Unobtrusive yet always in the
right place at the right time.
When the pictures are finished, she present you with a gorgeous
fabric-covered book (handmade) or a leather-covered box. Pictures
are either mounted on matting or in sleeves. It's unbelievable how
much work she puts into the entire process. Her fees are a little
higher than other photographers but we felt it was still a bargain.
She could charge two or three times what she does and do celebrity
weddings. The fact that she hasn't been "discovered" by the rich
and famous is only a fluke.
Visit her website and view some of her work from other weddings
(www.lionphotography.com) to see what I mean. I believe she was
recently chosen by Here Comes the Guide publication (the bible of
wedding information) as one of the best photographers and they used
a picture of hers for their cover shot. We liked her so much that
we are thinking of hiring her to take more pictures of us in another
year or two.
