Rose's photos speak for themselves! They are absolutely gorgeous and I love her photo-journalistic style. Sure, there are some pose-y shots (which still came out cute and not cheesy), but in general the photos are candid and real. Rose and her husband/assistant Gerard captured not only the elements of our wedding day but the spirit of the whole day as well. I have gotten tons of compliments on the photos too!
Besides beautiful photos, Rose is a joy to work with. She is warm and patient, responsive and open to idea. She just sort oof goes w/ the flow - on a stressful day like your wedding day, it's nice to have a calming presence around.
Also, I barely noticed they were there taking photos. Sometime photographers get in the way just to get the shot they want, but Rose/Gerard managed to get the shots they wanted w/ out disrupting the party and elbowing guests out of the way (which I have seen happen before!). We were thrilled w/ the photos, and enjoyed working w/ Rose and Gerard. Couldn't have asked for more. Oh, and their prices (for San Francisco area especially) are totally reasonable given the quality of their work. Check them out - you won't be disappointed.

Lion Photography was absolutely AMAZING. There photos truly captured the entire essence of our wedding ceremony. We were fortunate to have them for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and then at our local reception in our home town.
The incredible experience with Lion is that you never sensed they were there, they never interrupted the flow of any of our events, and to see the final products....just completely breathtaking and awestruck that they were able to capture that split second without you ever noticing that you were on camera!! We were lucky enough to work with Rosemarie twice - for an engagement session and for our wedding. On both occasions she was an absolute delight to work with. For our engagement session, Rosemarie captured some wonderful images that we used for the guest book at the wedding. It was a fun, collaborative process and the book was a huge success. We received so many compliments on it and it will be a wonderful keepsake from our special day!
Her work at our wedding was just as successful. Having worked with her before we didn't have to worry one second about the photography. She took care of everything and got all of the images we could have hoped for and, as always, it was fun having her around!
The most impressive thing about her work is that she makes it personalized. The pictures of the wedding captured all of the little details that made it unique and that was extremely important to us.
